A press conference for the international BRICS Beauty Contest was held in Kazan, dedicated to the results of the first contest and the announcement of the next year. The event took place on March 8 at the Kamal Theater and brought together participants, winners, jury members, and media representatives.
The discussion included contest president Dinara Salyakhova, singer and jury member Olga Seryabkina, TV host Aurora as moderator, and the contest winners.
The title of MISS BRICS 2026 was won by Russian Valentina Alekseeva, MRS BRICS by South African Millicent Mpholodi Tlou, and LITTLE MISS BRICS by Chinese participant Saffira Kara Guille Dumalaog. The winners shared their impressions: Valentina Alekseeva noted that participating in the contest was her main experience of representing her country, while Millicent Mpholodi Tlou emphasized that the contest was an opportunity to meet and make friends with participants from other countries.
Contest president Dinara Salyakhova highlighted that over eight days the participants created a true international community, demonstrating values, culture, and a desire to contribute positively to the world. According to her, the contest proved that beauty is not only about appearance but also about inner qualities, culture, and good deeds.
During the press conference, it was also announced that the international BRICS contest 2027 will take place in India, opening a new chapter in the history of the project and providing participants from different countries the opportunity to unite in an atmosphere of friendship, culture, and experience exchange.
The first international BRICS contest was held in Kazan from March 1 to 8, 2026. It featured 49 girls from 17 countries, presenting national costumes, creative performances, and cultural presentations of their countries.
